HOW TO ORDER MANUSCRIPTS AND BOOKS.

How to Inquire about an item:

You may inquire about the availability of an item by contacting as at sales@jonathansheppardbooks.com.

How to Reserve an item: if you prefer to send your payment by mail, you may reserve any item(s) for 7 days by contacting as at sales@jonathansheppardbooks.com.

How to Order:

You can place your order with us by:

	U.S. Mail - Send order with payment to History By Hand, Jonathan Sheppard Books, P.O. Box 2020, Plaza Station, Albany, NY 12220
	E-mail: sales@jonathansheppardbooks.com. You may split your credit card number and expiration date into two parts and enclose one part in a separate e-mail message if you prefer.

Necessary Information:

In order to fill your order, we need:

	Your complete name and mailing address, for shipping.
	For each item you order, please include both Manuscript Number and Title (e.g., DM4010, 1799 - New York City Mayor's Court Document).

Shipping Method and Cost:

All orders are shipped by first class mail or equivalent. The cost is $3.50 for the first document and $1.00 for each additional document.

For shipments to locations outside the U.S.: Add an additional $1.50 US to shipping costs above for postage to Canada and Mexico. Shipping charges outside North America will be billed separately if paying by check, or will be charged to your credit card.

Shipping Method: Our shipper of choice is the United States Postal Service. Orders shipped outside of North America are shipped at the lowest air mail rate. We fill orders quickly, but please allow time for delivery.

Sales Tax:

New York residents, please add sales tax at the appropriate local & state rate. Tax must be calculated on the total cost of order and shipping.

Payment:

We accept personal checks, business checks or money orders in U.S. dollars drawn on U.S. banks. We also accept VISA or MasterCard; be sure to include your card number and exp. date. Please do not mail cash.
