Illus., square 4to., red cloth, dj., 31 pp. VG condition. A facsimile of Edward Johnston's manuscript commissioned by Sir Sydney Cockerell consisting of a series of Biblical texts relating to King David. Johnston, who was born in 1872, is considered one of the most important calligraphers of the 20th century.
